Want
to learn more about Bob?
Bob Jones is a well-known duck decoy carver, formerly from New Jersey, who has turned a childhood hobby into a full-time business. In 1996, Bob changed directions, moved to New York State and began to carve fish decoys. His unique style of painting allows the natural grain of the wood to show through the painted finish. Many have tried to copy his style, but they haven't succeeded.
As an outdoor enthusiast, Bob enjoys watching ducks and geese on his swamp and private pond. Accompanied by his Lab, Jessie, he often photographs the area's wildlife. Being a conservationist, Bob has deep respect for nature and is always improving his farmland for the benefit of wildlife.
